Paul, The Football Octopus

When it comes in predicting the Fifa 2010 World cup matches, there is no one better than than Mr Paul, an Psychic Octopus who famous for his alleged ability to correctly predict the winner of matches in which the German national football team is playing: so far he has managed it 11 out of 12 times.

He upset German fans when he correctly predicted Germany's loss to Serbia In the 2010 FIFA World Cup knockout stage, Paul predicted Germany's win over England in the round of 16 and over Argentina in the quarter finals. For his last prediction, Paul received death threats. Angry Argentinian fans blamed him for their team's major loss of 0 to 4, and threatened to eat him to avenge his prediction. His keeper Oliver Walenciak is sure that the octopus is safe in his aquarium tank:



Paul also made a correct prediction for the semi finals when he chose the box with Spain's flag. Some German supporters hoped that Paul would get it wrong because of his incorrect prediction of the Germany versus Spain match in the UEFA Euro 2008, but this time they were in for a disappointment. Paul did it once again, his 100% accurate prediction for FIFA 2010 has gained worldwide status as a celebrity.

Amma Bhagwan : Two Enlightened human beings, who are on a mission of enlightening this whole world. I can grasp a little bit of those thoughts that are arising on your mind, as you read this. So let me list that down.

Your Mind : Enlightened? hahaha. No way! What is Enlightenment? Why should they enlighten everyone? They are frauds. They are simply after money?

Anyways let us put aside all your thoughts and doubts to one side. Let me assure you that you are not going to lose anything just by reading this and that you are not going to be bankrupt. 

A major event is about to happen in Sri Lanka on the 10th of July 2010. It is going to take place at the Colombo, Hindu College Playground at 4 00 PM. Not everyone is aware of the significance of this event, as those of you who are joining this event, is about to experience a special energy called as Mukthi Deeksha. The event is free to join, and any number of people of all religions are welcome to join. This attempt is a simple effort to help spread the word.

Mukthi Deeksha and the significance of 2012 

Most of you know that the earth has got a magnetic field. As the earth's molten core is rotating; the magnetic field is created. The thought sphere of the human mind is located in the earth's magnetic field. This magnetic field has been weakening dramatically over last ten years. Now, in physics there is a parameter called "Schumann's Resonance". Using that we can determine the strength of the earth's magnetic field. While for many centuries, it was constant around 7.80 cycles per second, during the last 7-8 years, it has risen to 11 cycles per second and is continuing to increase dramatically.

If you work it out mathematically, it appears that, by the year 2012, the "Schumann's Resonance" is likely to be 13 cycles per second. When this resonance is 13 cycles per second, the earth's core would stop rotating with magnetic field gone, you mind is gone. When I say "your mind", what I mean is your " samskaras".

The pressure of the past 11.000 years of samskaras will vanish. In the Dharma, we also say, " Mind is Karma". All actions start from your mind. The mind is nothing but a storehouse of samskaras or past life vasanas from which all action emanates. This is stored in the earth's magnetic field. So in the year 2012, it will become zero for a few days. After that the core will start rotating again. This would be a fresh beginning for man or the dawn of the Golden Age. 

This is the significance of the year 2012. How do we know, it will happen? The study of fossil records has shown that, it happens roughly after 11,000 years. It's only a short time away and then we can all start afresh. That is why I want you to become enlightened by 2012. 

If you are enlightened, with all your samskaras gone, we can begin a new yuga, which can be called Sathya Yuga or the Golden Age. Man will enter into a new state of altered consciousness. 

So will I get enlightened if i attend the Mukthi Deeksha?

Gulf Of Mexico Oil Spill | Shocking aerial footage

The Deepwater Horizon oil spill (also referred to as the BP oil spill, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, the BP oil disaster or the Macondo blowout) is a massive ongoing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico that is the largest offshore spill in U.S. history. The spill stems from a sea floor oil gusher that resulted from the April 20, 2010 Deepwater Horizon drilling rig explosion. The explosion killed 11 platform workers and injured 17 others.

The spill has resulted in an environmental disaster, with extensive impact already apparent on marine and wildlife habitats. The spill has also damaged the Gulf of Mexico fishing and tourism industries. There have been a variety of efforts to stem the flow at the wellhead. Crews have been working to protect hundreds of miles of beaches, wetlands and estuaries along the northern Gulf coast, using skimmer ships, floating containment booms, anchored barriers, and sand-filled barricades along shorelines. The U.S. Government has named BP as the responsible party, and officials have committed to hold the company accountable for all cleanup costs and other damage.

Interview with Shakira

Shakira's 'Waka Waka', the official song for World Cup 2010, has become the sound that captures the excitement of the most awaited football event.

Even though the Columbian song, titled 'The Military', was written for soldiers, Shakira has put a new spin to it along with some good old African flavour turning the song into a sensational track.
