You can find Bubble Gum Alley in San Luis Obispo, California. It's located in the downtown of this town that's located near the coast, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Both sides of the alley are covered with chewed bubblegum. A shop at the entrance to BubbleGum Alley has a gum machine where you can get your own contribution to the wall (or bring your own chewed gum with you).

The alley has been like this for years. I first walked down the alley in 1978, when I came to San Luis Obispo to go to college. It hasn't changed that much over the years except for some gum higher up on the wall than I remember. I'd assume that some of the gum must fall off after a period of time but don't know for sure.

What's interesting is to watch people's reaction to the alley. Some are disgusted, some won't walk down the alley and almost start gagging while others will spend time looking at the patterns people make with their gum.

While it may not be for everyone, you won't find anything else like it anywhere!

Inventor unveils $7,000 worth world's first sex robot.: Roxxxy

The robot is built by the New Jersey-based company TrueCompanion.Its engineer is Douglas Hines, founder and president of the company, who worked as an artificial intelligence engineer at the Bell Labs before he founded TrueCompanion.Development of Roxxxy is said to have cost between $500,000 and $1 million, and taken approximately 2+¹⁄₂ years. The robot is also described as the "world's first life-size robotic girlfriend".


Roxxxy made its public debut at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) in Las Vegas on January 9, 2010.

The gynoid stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds (170 cm and 54 kg)^. It has flesh-like synthetic skin and an artificial intelligence engine programmed to learn the owner's likes and dislikes. The artificial intelligence personality software was emphasised during development of the robot. An articulated skeleton allows Roxxxy to be positioned like a human being and to replicate human movements, but the doll cannot move its limbs independently. A mechanical heart installed in the robot powers an internal liquid cooling system.

The Roxxxy prototype is claimed to have been modeled after a college-aged Caucasian fine arts student. Roxxxy is offered for purchase with the buyer's choice of five different personalities. She is also able to talk about sports and cars. According to the website of the company, Roxxxy is not limited to sexual uses and "can carry on a discussion and expresses her love to you and be your loving friend. She can talk to you, listen to you and feel your touch." Other features include touch sensors that give Roxxxy the ability to sense when it is being moved, and a program that allows it to converse with the owner via an internal loudspeaker. The robot's vocabulary may be updated with the help of a laptop (connected to the back by cables) and the Internet.
Customers can ask TrueCompanion to customize the Roxxxy according to personal preferences, such as hair color, eye color, skin color, breast size and other features. Roxxxy is priced at $7,000 to $9,000 plus a separate subscription fee, and is currently offered for sale in the United States and Europe with plans for eventual global availability.
